PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soul Jah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Szymon Piechnicki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jah comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Marley - Buffalo Soldier. Piechnicki has chosen Shantel - Disko Partizani as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Szymon Piechnicki!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Darius Henderson and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piechnicki closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Piechnicki closes the distance looking to clinch
and Jah counters with a nice body kick.
Jah avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jah lands a leg kick that knocks Piechnicki off balance momentarily.
Piechnicki tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jah swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Piechnicki moves in looking to clinch but Jah pushes him off.
Jah looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Jah chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Piechnicki has Jah up against the cage in a clinch.
Piechnicki is trying to stall.
Piechnicki tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Piechnicki slows down the pace here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jah is leaning against Piechnicki and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Jah stalling in the clinch.

Jah escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Piechnicki moves to clinch but Jah breaks away
and Jah counters with a three punch combo that has Piechnicki backing up. Piechnicki nods at Jah to acknowledge the strikes.
Jah lands a nice looking kick to the body. Piechnicki takes a step back to recover.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jah.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Jah.
Jah looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jah lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Jah lands a big head kick that sends Piechnicki tumbling to the mat! Jah takes a step backwards and waves Piechnicki back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Piechnicki is rocked!

It looks like Szymon Piechnicki has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crack! A monster head kick from Jah and Piechnicki falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Jah!
