PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kostas Karelis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Der Debil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karelis comes into the arena with Sail - AwolNation blaring out of the sound system. Debil has chosen Bulimic as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kostas Karelis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Der Debil!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Debil walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kostas Karelis will probably get the nod.

Karelis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Debil's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Karelis gets to his feet and stands over Debil, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Debil felt that one! Karelis unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Debil from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kostas Karelis!
Der Debil was interviewed post fight and said 'i did what i can, i have lost this fight but i will learn more and be a better fighter in the future!'.
