The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stoic looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Stoic throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Stoic has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Factory. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stoic connects with a nice short shot to McIrish's temple.
McIrish is trying to stand up here but Stoic is controlling him well.

Stoic is nestled in close to McIrish, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
