Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacques Diddles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vernell Williams!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diddles pinned against the cage. Diddles gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Williams shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Diddles is trying to defend but Williams finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Diddles wants to control but Williams is having none of it.

Williams gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Diddles throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and Diddles finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Diddles wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Williams fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Diddles avoids it really well and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Diddles is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Vernell Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
