Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Illumi De Medici (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoey Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malone has chosen Boy Named Sue - Johnny Cash as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits De Medicis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
De Medici fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Malone is out of range.
De Medici has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Vendetta Alliance London Gym in the buildup to the fight.

It looks like Zoey Malone has been cut.
Malone shoots in but De Medici avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Malone sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed De Medici's guard.
Malone tries to pass the half guard into mount. De Medici knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Malone is sneakily working for an arm triangle but De Medici sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Malone is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Malone stalling away here and it's allowed De Medici to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Malone wants to pass the guard but De Medici is keeping the position.

and Malone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

A slow jab from De Medici misses its intended target.
Malone has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from De Medici finds it's way round the side to connect with Malone's head.
Malone tries to close the distance and clinch but De Medici swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A kick lands to the mid section there for De Medici.
De Medici misses with a wild body shot.
Malone drops down looking to force a counter takedown but De Medici defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Malone throws a hook to the side of De Medici's head but De Medici sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Malone goes for a double leg but De Medici avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as De Medici continues to drive forward.

That has opened up Zoey Malone's cut even more.
Malone is breathing heavily.
Malone tries for a takedown but De Medici sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Malone throws an ugly left hook that misses
and De Medici comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Malone stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but De Medici is on him like rabid pit bull! Malone slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Illumi De Medici!
Illumi De Medici seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Zoey Malone stepped up to the mic, saying 'Damn! That sucked!'.
