The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Celasquez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ahmed's half guard.
Celasquez lands with a punch from half guard.
Celasquez trying to control the action but Ahmed is working from the bottom.
Celasquez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ahmed's head.

Celasquez slips a nice elbow through Ahmed's hands, connecting with Ahmed's forehead.
Ahmed is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Celasquez lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Ahmed is looking to control Celasquez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ahmed avoid being mounted?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Celasquez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ahmed keeps working.
