The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodenbucher looks to land a right hand but Shortbread moved out of range.
Shortbread takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodenbucher connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shortbread. Shortbread circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Choc Chip Shortbread has been cut.

Rodenbucher sends Shortbread crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rodenbucher is motioning to the referee to let Shortbread up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rodenbucher walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Shortbread drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Rodenbucher swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Shortbread's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
