The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Correa pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Correa scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Renato Laranga has been cut.
Laranga displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Correa throws out the jab.

Laranga pushes Correa up against the cage in a clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Correa has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Still in the clinch, Laranga scores with a nice short uppercut.

Correa breaks the clinch.
Correa misses with a body shot.
Laranga steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Correa.
No joy there for Correa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Laranga tries to counter by closing the distance.
We've been informed that Laranga has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Laranga throws a head kick that misses.
Laranga takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Correa connects with a nice looking jab.
Correa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Correa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Laranga sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Correa somewhat.

Correa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Laranga circles away quickly and effectively.

Renato Laranga is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Correa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Correa looks to score with a jab to the body but Laranga is just out of range.
Laranga fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Correa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Laranga swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Laranga avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Laranga forces Correa back against the cage and clinches.

Correa has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Laranga clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Correa working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Laranga is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Correa has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Laranga taps out!
