The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hallick throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Altare counters with a good, hard body kick but Hallick shrugs it off.
Hallick throws a right hand that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Hallick is looking to clinch but Altare is avoiding it.
Altare appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Hallick throws an overhand right that lands on Altare's shoulder, as Altare tries to avoid the shot.
Altare wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Altare misses with a hook.
Hallick throws a counter combo.

Hallick moves into range and clinches up with Altare.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

and Altare counters with a leg kick.
Altare tries a head kick but it misses.
Altare avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hallick bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Altare darts in and clinches Hallick up against the cage.

Altare lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hallick backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Altare blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Altare digs a right hand underneath Hallick's ribcage. Hallick let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Hallick has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Altare seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Hallick can turn it around.

Hallick lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Altare or not.

Hallick pushes Altare against the cage. Hallick is working some dirty boxing. Hallick pushes off with a quick right hook! Altare goes down! Altare tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Hallick moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
