Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gaudencio Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Nahtic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nahtic is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sleeping My Day Away. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nahtic misses with a looping right.
Roman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Nahtic!

It looks like Gaudencio Roman has been cut.
Good leg kick by Nahtic there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nahtic throws a combination. Roman tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Roman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Roman rushes Nahtic and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Nahtic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nahtic is trying to break the clinch but Roman is controlling him.
Nahtic wants to break free but Roman has control.
Nahtic has had enough of the clinch but Roman keeps him there for the moment.
Roman lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nahtic backwards.
Nahtic avoids the elbow strike from Roman, against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Roman manages to break the clinch.
Nahtic scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nahtic rushes Roman with punches - Roman moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Roman goes down! Nahtic follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
