Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dragan Draksic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Annibale E I Cantori Moderni -Trinity as his entrance music. Dragan Draksic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draksic throws a lazy head kick
and Gracie counters with a nice uppercut.
Gracie goes for a double leg but Draksic avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Draksic continues to drive forward.
Gracie's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gracie duly obliges.

It looks like Dragan Draksic has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Draksic uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gracie.
Gracie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Draksic fires out a quick counter leg kick but Gracie just manages to avoid it.
Draksic throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Ryan Gracie has been cut.
Gracie goes for a double leg but Draksic avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Draksic continues to drive forward.

Draksic has managed to clinch.
Draksic landing knees to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Draksic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Draksic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie.
Dragan Draksic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Gracie.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Draksic as he jumps to the side.
Gracie wants to clinch up but Draksic keeps it at a distance.

Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Draksic swivels and escapes.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gracie darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gracie looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Draksic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've been told by Draksic's head coaches at Soul Supremacy - UK that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Draksic has taken the fight to the clinch.

Draksic lands an elbow inside.
Draksic gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gracie.
A body shot lands from Draksic.
Draksic lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

That has opened up Ryan Gracie's cut even more.

Draksic manages to break the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie blocks a head kick by Draksic.
Nice sprawl there from Draksic as Gracie shoots in.
Draksic throws a sloppy head kick
enabling Gracie to counter with a crisp jab.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Draksic tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Draksic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Draksic thinks about countering with a head kick.

Gracie has closed the distance and engaged Draksic in a clinch.
Gracie is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Draksic lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Draksic pushes Gracie back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

The cut above Ryan Gracie's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Draksic lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gracie backwards.

Ryan Gracie's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Draksic pushes Gracie against the cage. Draksic is working some dirty boxing. Draksic pushes off with a quick right hook! Gracie goes down! Gracie tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Draksic moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
