Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tanner Pounds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iker Dedal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iker Dedal is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dedal misses with the combination.
Pounds lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dedal circles away quickly and effectively.
Dedal throws the left hand but Pounds avoids the punch easily.
Pounds cracks the inside of Dedal's front leg.
Pounds throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dedal misses with a wild combination.
Pounds throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dedal takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Dedal throws a body punch but Pounds moves out of range.
Pounds lands a nice hook to Dedal's body. Dedal takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dedal tries to bum rush Pounds with a series of wild strikes but Pounds uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pounds looking to score a takedown here. Dedal is defending well but Pounds drives through and ends up in Dedal's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pounds throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pounds postures up and lands a big shot to Dedal's brow.
Dedal utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Dedal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pounds. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee warns Dedal that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Pounds postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Dedal in real trouble here! The ref calls for Dedal to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
