The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennet scores with a nice right hand.

Bennet gets tackled into the cage by Phichai. Phichai maintains the clinch.
Phichai controlling the action here for a moment.

Bennet's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bennet throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bennet throws a wild body kick that Phichai sees coming a mile off.
Phichai appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Phichai throws a solid leg kick but Bennet takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Phichai.
Bennet throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Phichai stumbling backwards into the cage! Phichai bounces back off the cage towards Bennet, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Bennet lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Bennet celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Scotty Bennet decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
