Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sinbad Sailor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitri Yurkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sailor comes to the cage accompanied by Sailing on the Seven Seas. Dmitri Yurkov is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitri Yurkov!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sailor throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Yurkov is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

A looping hook to the body misses from Yurkov. Sailor does a little dance to reset his feet.

Yurkov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sailor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yurkov has managed to get both his arms back between Sailor's legs - danger averted.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Yurkov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sailor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yurkov somewhat.

Sailor postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Yurkov looks a forlorn figure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yurkov takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Sailor's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
