Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Biglz!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Biglz misses.
Robertson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Biglz sprawls and moves away.
Biglz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Biglz tries to clinch but Robertson is having none of it.

Biglz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

It appears Robertson was looking to counter with a kick there.

Robertson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Biglz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Robertson under the eye.

Robertson gets tackled into the cage by Biglz. Biglz maintains the clinch.
Biglz lands a hook that snaps the head of Robertson backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Biglz is trying to push Robertson away but Robertson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Robertson tries to land knees in the clinch but Biglz avoids the damage to the body.
Robertson has Biglz pressed against the cage, preventing Biglz from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Robertson keeps control of Biglz as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Biglz can't break the clinch.

Biglz has had enough of the clinch but Robertson keeps him there for the moment.
Biglz misses with a short punch on the inside.

Robertson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Biglz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Biglz misses with a body kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Biglz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Robertson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Robertson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Biglz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Biglz attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Biglz throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Biglz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Robertson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Robertson lands in his opponent's guard.

Robertson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Robertson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Robertson is working Biglz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Biglz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Biglz has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Robertson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Biglz has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Robertson is on him like a limpet, forcing Biglz back against the cage.

Robertson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Biglz throws a right and a left that both miss.

Robertson looking to score a takedown here. Biglz is defending well but Robertson drives through and ends up in Biglz's guard.
Robertson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Robertson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Biglz is kicking away at Robertson from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Robertson grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Biglz trying to push Robertson off... Biglz taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Adrian Robertson!
