Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Titus Pullo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pullo comes to the cage accompanied by Wild Boys. James has chosen NWO Wolfpack as his entrance music. Titus Pullo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jimmy James's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Titus Pullo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy James!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Pullo does no damage.
A head kick from James lands but Pullo takes it in his stride.
Pullo scores with a sloppy right hand. James should have avoided that one.
A head kick misses from James.
James fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
James tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Pullo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
James walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
James has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Pullo misses the jab.
James with the counter takedown but Pullo avoids it easily.

James fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pullo sprawls well initially but James persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

James moves in looking to clinch but Pullo pushes him off.
A looping hook to the body misses from James. Pullo does a little dance to reset his feet.
James fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
James moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Pullo throws a hook to the side of James's head but James sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pullo moves forwards but James connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A head kick misses from Pullo.
James tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pullo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pullo is looking to counter punch.
James dives in and grabs Pullo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pullo pushes down on James's head and hops out.
Titus Pullo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy James.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
James is looking to work some ground and pound but Pullo has wrist control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Pullo misses with a looping right.
James misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
James throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

A close round but Jimmy James will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Pullo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but James was well out of range. Poor timing from Pullo.

Pullo throws a shot from downtown. James moves away and avoids it.
James tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pullo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
James is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pullo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pullo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horrible takedown attempt by James or perhaps it was just good defense by Pullo, which made it look bad.
Pullo throws a big counter combination but James scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

James uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pullo.

James has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from James there as he acknowledges the shot.
James doesn't manage to clinch there - Pullo circles away.
Pullo was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Good shot there by James.
Pullo throws out a loose jab but James uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pullo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

James gets in close and instigates a clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, James just misses with a elbow thrown towards Pullo's brow.

James is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pullo is keeping busy.
I was talking to Pullo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
James drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pullo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Titus Pullo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy James.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James moves in looking to clinch but Pullo pushes him off.

Pullo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
James moves out of range as Pullo strikes.
Pullo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
James scores with a sloppy right hand. Pullo should have avoided that one.

and Pullo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Titus Pullo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

James shoots for a double leg takedown but Pullo sprawls well. He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

James wants to clinch.
James swings away with a body shot that misses
and Pullo counters with a straight right hand.
James tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
James tests Pullo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
James drops his hands momentarily and Pullo needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips James just on the top of the head. James drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in James - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Titus Pullo!
After winning the bout, Titus Pullo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
