Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Azamat Gashimov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pure Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pure Gold will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold looks to land a right hand but Gashimov moved out of range.
Gashimov half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Gashimov moves forwards but Gold connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Gashimov looks to throw the jab but Gold is out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gold! But no joy.
Gold throws a body shot but no joy.
Gashimov half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Gashimov walks into a jab.
Gashimov throws a big shot that misses.
Gold pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gold has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gashimov is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Gashimov throws a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gold ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gashimov moves away.
Gashimov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gashimov avoids the body shot from Gold.
Gashimov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gold looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Gashimov shoots in for a takedown but Gold shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gold connects with a leg kick. Gashimov looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gashimov looks to land a left hand but Gold moved out of range nicely.

Gold drops Gashimov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gashimov looks back up at him and smiles so Gold waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Gashimov is rocked!
Gold is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Gashimov hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
