Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between William McDougal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sydney Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sydney Wilson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson throws a solid leg kick but McDougal takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wilson.

McDougal looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wilson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wilson throws a head kick but McDougal moves out of range.

Wilson throws the kick towards the body but McDougal avoids it.
McDougal tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Wilson manages to circle out of the way.

McDougal tries to clinch there but Wilson circles away.

McDougal shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wilson as he avoids it easily.
McDougal throws a combination. Wilson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

William McDougal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wilson is on top in guard.

Wilson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
McDougal wants to stand up but Wilson is controlling him.

McDougal looking for a guillotine here but Wilson defends easily.

Wilson got a little sloppy there for a moment and McDougal has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wilson has managed to get both his arms back between McDougal's legs - danger averted.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

McDougal manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wilson on his heels. He'll look to pass Wilson's guard now, I'm sure.

McDougal drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wilson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wilson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wilson!

McDougal dives in and grabs Wilson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wilson pushes down on McDougal's head and hops out.

Wilson lands a leg kick that knocks McDougal off balance momentarily.
McDougal chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wilson can pounce on him.
McDougal moves out of range of the strikes.

Sydney Wilson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

After the fight, Sydney Wilson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
