Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arapeta Ma Aka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Combo King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arapeta Ma Aka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Combo King!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ma Aka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but King avoids it really well and circles away.
Good shot there by King.
King fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ma Aka manages to avoid it.
King tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Ma Aka counters with a single leg into guard. King didn't expect that.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ma Aka controls from within his opponent's guard.

King pushes Ma Aka off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King throws a left and a right that both miss

and Ma Aka counters by moving into the clinch.
King misses with a shot to the kidneys.

King manages to break the clinch.
King scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ma Aka doesn't seem bothered though.
King throws a body punch but Ma Aka moves out of range.
Ma Aka lands a nice hook to King's body. King takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ma Aka slips a jab and a cross from King.
King clobbers Ma Aka with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
King connects with a crisp jab.
King moves in looking to clinch but Ma Aka pushes him off.
King misses with an uppercut. Ma Aka saw that one coming.
King lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ma Aka looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
King lunges at Ma Aka with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ma Aka's hand.

Ma Aka is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King flashes Ma Aka a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Ma Aka's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Ma Aka crumples to the floor! He's out cold! King punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Combo King!
