The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenardly misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kenardly swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Woodley.
Woodley fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kenardly on the side of the head.
Woodley looks to land a left hand but Kenardly moved out of range nicely.
Woodley throws a body punch but Kenardly moves out of range.
Kenardly has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Kenardly misses with a two punch combination.
Kenardly lands with an uppercut that bounces Woodley off the cage and back into range.
Sloppy strikes from Kenardly. Those never looked like landing.
Lars Kenardly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Woodley tests Kenardly's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kenardly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Woodley circles away quickly and effectively.
Kenardly throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Woodley dips to his left and cracks Kenardly with an uppercut!
Woodley moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Woodley lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kenardly's sensitive parts.
Kenardly throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Woodley counters with a leg kick.
A punch combination from Kenardly misses.
Kenardly throws a left and a right that both miss

and Woodley counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Woodley.
Woodley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
