Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ada Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe has chosen Angry Johnny & The Killbillies - Kill Again as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ada Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eli Crowe!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Crowe counters with a nice uppercut.
Crowe fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Reyes crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Crowe - the referee stops the clock and Reyes gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Crowe. Reyes manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Crowe gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Reyes.
Reyes does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Reyes tries to move into range but Crowe moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Crowe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Reyes was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Crowe throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Ada Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Reyes has managed to clinch.
A short uppercut from Reyes.
Reyes fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Crowe lands a body punch in the clinch.
Reyes using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Crowe has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crowe told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Crowe's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Reyes tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Crowe avoids it.
Reyes tries to throw a body punch but Crowe avoids it by throwing Reyes back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eli Crowe dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Crowe walks into a jab.
Crowe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Reyes. That did some damage!
Crowe throws out a leg kick but Reyes moves out of range and Crowe only half commits.
Reyes misses with a low kick as Crowe jumps back.
Crowe tries to counter with a clinch but Reyes shakes him off and moves away.
Reyes throws a body kick that misses
and Crowe counters with an outside leg kick.
Crowe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reyes looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Crowe lands a big head kick that sends Reyes tumbling to the mat! Crowe takes a step backwards and waves Reyes back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Reyes is rocked!
Crowe has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reyes tries a head kick but it misses.
Oh Reyes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Reyes, as that shot connected.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Crowe takes one to the chin there.
Reyes seems to have got his legs back now.
Reyes misses the body punch
and Crowe scores with a counter punch that sends Reyes to the canvas! Crowe smells blood - he's punishing Reyes with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Reyes has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eli Crowe!
Eli Crowe spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
