Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, David Though!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Luisao Linhaeres!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Though shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Linhaeres pinned against the cage. Linhaeres gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Linhaeres tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Linhaeres circles away from the clinch attempt
and Linhaeres counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Though thinking.

Linhaeres closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Though is looking to get back to his feet here but Linhaeres is keeping cool and he's managed to take Though's back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Linhaeres scores with punches to the body.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Linhaeres. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Linhaeres lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Linhaeres.

Linhaeres has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Though! Can he survive? No! He's out! Linhaeres gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

A pretty intense looking Luisao Linhaeres took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
