Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Petrenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlinhos Valente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrenko comes to the cage accompanied by Bro Hymm/ Pennywise. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrenko shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Petrenko just misses with a elbow thrown towards Valente's brow.

We've been hearing reports that Petrenko has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Petrenko has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Valente is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Valente has his foot on Petrenko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Petrenko works his way back into a safe position though.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Petrenko and the ref steps in to end the fight! Petrenko can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
