Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Silvan Neadue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Unknown Charrua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silvan Neadue has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Silvan Neadue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Chris Dean and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charrua throws a body shot but no joy.
Unknown Charrua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Charrua works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Charrua fails to land with a series of punches.
Charrua misses the jab.
Neadue cracks Charrua with a right hand to the side of the head.
Neadue cracks Charrua with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Neadue throws a right hand that Charrua ducks under and follows up with a left that Charrua also avoids with ease.
Neadue darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Charrua has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Sydney. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Neadue connects with a nice short shot to Charrua's temple.
Neadue throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Neadue has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Neadue is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Charrua doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Neadue.

Neadue looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neadue is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Charrua defends it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Charrua wants to get back to his feet.

Charrua won't allow Neadue to pass to mount.
Neadue is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Charrua is just riding it out for now. Neadue eventually gives up the hold.

Neadue is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Charrua as he works his way to full guard.

Neadue stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Charrua swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neadue prevents Charrua from getting back to his feet.
Neadue postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Neadue loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Neadue drops back looking for a leg! Charrua is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Charrua manages to kick Neadue off! Neadue jumps back into Charrua's guard.
Neadue advances position into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Charrua is trying to get back to his feet.
Neadue is trying to get an arm triangle but Charrua is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silvan Neadue dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Neadue fails with an attempt to clinch.
Charrua jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Charrua lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Neadue backs up against the cage.
Charrua scores with a one two! Neadue had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Neadue walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Neadue shoots in and gets a takedown into Charrua's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Neadue thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Neadue is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Charrua can do to turn this around?
Neadue drops back, looking for a kneebar! Charrua looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Charrua looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Charrua!
Neadue is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Charrua wants to work for an arm triangle but Neadue is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Neadue is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Charrua pulls his head out easily.
Neadue has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Charrua. Oh but Neadue has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Charrua goes limp - he's gone! Neadue jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

After winning the bout, Silvan Neadue thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
