The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meen closes the distance and clinches.
Meen misses with some punches.
Meen struggles to land a body shot inside as Amaro controls his hands.
Meen tries a body shot but Amaro blocks it.
Meen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Amaro backwards.
A nice left hand lands by Amaro.

Amaro has Meen pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Amaro pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Meen tumbling to the mat - Amaro dives into Meen's guard.

Amaro clobbers Meen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Erik Meen has been cut.

Amaro misses with a looping left.
Meen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Amaro manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Amaro tries to stall but Meen uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Amaro jumps guard and drags Meen to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Meen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Amaro has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Meen is looking to defend but Amaro has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Meen! Amaro pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Meen taps out and this one is all over!
