PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King LuhJay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King LuhJay told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, King LuhJay!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Fuller tries to clinch but LuhJay moves away
and LuhJay counters with a one-two to the body.

Fuller moves into the clinch.

LuhJay drops Fuller onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Fuller is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

It looks like Jonathan Fuller has been cut.
Fuller takes an elbow to the forehead.

Fuller is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fuller tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Oh Fuller is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

LuhJay jumps guard.

LuhJay pushes Fuller off and scrambles back to his feet.
LuhJay is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fuller fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
LuhJay throws a counter combo.
Fuller closes the distance looking to clinch
and LuhJay counters with a left to the body.
Fuller seems to have got his legs back now.
Fuller could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fuller is breathing heavily.
Fuller closes the distance looking to clinch
and LuhJay counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Fuller to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by LuhJay!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). King LuhJay!
A very excited looking King LuhJay rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
