Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mad Raefon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giordano Bruno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raefon comes into the arena with Riot - Three Days Grace blaring out of the sound system. Bruno is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Preliator. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mad Raefon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Giordano Bruno!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raefon dives in and grabs Bruno's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bruno pushes down on Raefon's head and hops out.
Raefon takes one on the button.

It looks like Mad Raefon has been cut.
Raefon with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bruno counters with a nice low kick that buckles Raefon's knee momentarily.
Raefon is looking to clinch but Bruno is avoiding it.

and Raefon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mad Raefon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bruno displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Raefon.
Raefon is breathing heavily.
Raefon goes for a double leg but Bruno avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bruno continues to drive forward.
Bruno has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Raefon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bruno.
Bruno jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bruno throws a quick inside leg kick.
Raefon walks into a stiff left hand from Bruno.

Mad Raefon's cut is getting worse.
Bruno cracks the inside of Raefon's front leg.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Raefon takes one to the chin there.
Raefon fails with a takedown attempt.
Bruno is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Raefon is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Bruno moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
