Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Point Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ashley Sheilds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ashley Sheilds enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sheilds ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sheilds misses with a low kick.
Fighter thuds his right hand into Sheilds's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jab, jab by Sheilds - just one landing.
Fighter misses with a body shot.
Fighter misses with a lunging right hand
and Sheilds counters with a straight right hand.
Sheilds looks to land a left hand but Fighter moved out of range nicely.
Sheilds blocks a jab.
Fighter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sheilds manages to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Fighter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fighter's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sheilds connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fighter scrambles back to his feet.

Sheilds tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Fighter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sheilds looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fighter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sheilds has escaped the position, nice work there.

Fighter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sheilds knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Fighter scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Sheilds is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Fighter can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

During a confident post fight interview, Point Fighter thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
