Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adelheid Bernstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Snead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bernstein comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed - Down With The Sickness. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Adelheid Bernstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Snead!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernstein lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Snead at a distance.
Sam Snead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Snead.
Snead rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bernstein moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bernstein circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bernstein avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bernstein misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bernstein fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Snead has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Snead misses with a wild combination.
Bernstein tries to bum rush Snead with a series of wild strikes but Snead uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Snead avoids a kick to the body.
Snead stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bernstein.
No joy there for Snead, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Snead fails in his attempt to clinch.
Snead throws a head kick that Bernstein semi-blocks.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Snead moves in looking to clinch but Bernstein pushes him off.
Snead tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Bernstein counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Sam Snead has been cut.
Bernstein misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bernstein throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Snead tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bernstein paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sam Snead is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Snead pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bernstein back to the cage. Snead follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Snead keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Snead is looking to clinch.
Snead rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bernstein moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Snead fails with an attempt to clinch.

Snead takes the fight into the clinch.
Snead misses with a hook to the ribs.
Bernstein tries to work over Snead's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A bit of stalling here from Snead.
Bernstein blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Snead throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Snead misses with a knee strike.
Bernstein throws a punch but it's blocked by Snead.
Bernstein misses with a punch on the inside.
Bernstein tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Snead blocks an uppercut.
Bernstein looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Bernstein lands a body shot.

A right hand to the body from Bernstein.
Snead looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bernstein doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Snead is trying to maintain a safe position but Bernstein gets an underhook and turns Snead into the cage.
Bernstein lands a right hand that snaps the head of Snead backwards.

Bernstein goes for a takedown attempt but Snead pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adelheid Bernstein. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snead avoids the head kick by Bernstein.

Bernstein bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Bernstein scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Bernstein fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Snead looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bernstein.
Snead misses with a series of wild punches.
Bernstein connects with a leg kick. Snead looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bernstein fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Bernstein lands with an overhand left.
Snead attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Bernstein lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bernstein thuds his right hand into Snead's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Snead crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bernstein - the referee stops the clock and Snead gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bernstein. Snead manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Bernstein looks to land a body kick but Snead moved away.
Snead changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Bernstein misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bernstein lands a nice leg kick that just misses Snead's sensitive parts.
Bernstein throws a nice outside leg kick.
Snead stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bernstein.

Bernstein scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bernstein prevents Snead from improving his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Snead manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bernstein is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Bernstein wants to control from the top but Snead keeps moving.
Bernstein wants to pass the guard but Snead is keeping the position.

Bernstein slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Bernstein postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bernstein wants to control from the top but Snead keeps moving.
Bernstein postures up and lands a big shot to Snead's brow.

Bernstein is looking to pass into half guard but Snead pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Snead is in guard.
Bernstein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bernstein wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Snead gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Snead gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Bernstein points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Snead wakes up just in time to hear Bernstein thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Adelheid Bernstein!
An out of breath Adelheid Bernstein thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
