Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Schilling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fujiwara Tsuyoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schilling comes to the cage accompanied by Shipping Up to Boston-Dropkick Murphys. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tsuyoshi's choice of entrance music: WHISPERED - HOLD THE SWORD. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fujiwara Tsuyoshi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Tsuyoshi.
Schilling avoids a kick to the body.
Schilling gets a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tsuyoshi manages to get to full guard.
Schilling is looking to work some ground and pound but Tsuyoshi has wrist control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schilling is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Tsuyoshi wants to improve his position but Schilling is controlling well.

Tsuyoshi wants to control but Schilling is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Schilling connects with a nice short shot to Tsuyoshi's temple.

Schilling winds up and cracks Tsuyoshi with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Schilling is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tsuyoshi sees it coming and defends easily.
Schilling passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tsuyoshi!

Schilling prevents Tsuyoshi from getting the reversal.

Schilling has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tsuyoshi's face.
The referee warns Tsuyoshi that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Tsuyoshi is squirming around, avoiding Schilling's attempts to control the action.

Tsuyoshi seems to have recovered his senses.
Schilling lands a nice shot to the head.
Schilling is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tsuyoshi can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
