The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steigelmann lands a jab-cross combination.

Steigelmann steps into range and cracks Mandragoran with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Mandragoran flops backwards and Steigelmann dives into his guard looking to finish!

Mandragoran is rocked!

It looks like Lan Mandragoran has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Steigelmann's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Mandragoran wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Mandragoran can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steigelmann controls the pace.
Steigelmann's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mandragoran pulls Steigelmann in close to his closed guard and prevents Steigelmann from doing any damage or advancing position.

Steigelmann is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Steigelmann drops Mandragoran with a big left hand! Mandragoran is injured, injured bad! Steigelmann jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
