The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Boy clinches up with Oviedo and pushes him back against the cage.
Boy landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Oviedo looks winded!
Boy unloads a knee to the mid-section. Oviedo lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

It looks like Jorge Oviedo has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Oviedo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Boy has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Oviedo - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Boy, and another! Oviedo is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
