Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Ragnar and Emmanuel Nwamadi. Ragnar comes to the cage accompanied by Shook Ones II. Emmanuel Nwamadi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 wins, 2 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of London, Emmanuel Nwamadi!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Sam Margolis.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Ragnar. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ragnar.
Nwamadi closes the distance but Ragnar moves to the side
and Ragnar counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nwamadi's knee momentarily.
Nwamadi moves forwards but Ragnar connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ragnar lands with a shot to the body.
Nwamadi wants to clinch but Ragnar slips to the side
and Ragnar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nwamadi misses with a hook. Ragnar ducked under it nicely.
Nwamadi just misses with a punch to the body.
Nwamadi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nwamadi takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ragnar connects with a right hand. Nwamadi shakes it off.
Ragnar works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nwamadi is looking to clinch but Ragnar is avoiding it.
Ragnar is looking to counter with a body kick.
Ragnar is looking to slow Nwamadi down with leg kicks.
That kick from Ragnar tenderised Nwamadi's leg. Nwamadi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bjorn Ragnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nwamadi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ragnar throws a head kick that Nwamadi semi-blocks.
Ragnar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Nwamadi to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Bjorn Ragnar has been cut.

Ragnar lands a front kick.
Ragnar moves away from the strike by Nwamadi.
Ragnar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Nwamadi is looking to clinch but Ragnar is avoiding it.
Ragnar is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Nwamadi misses with a left hand
and Ragnar counters with a stiff right hand.
Ragnar bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ragnar connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nwamadi's hands.
Sloppy strikes from Nwamadi. Those never looked like landing.
Nwamadi takes one on the button.
Ragnar lands a lovely overhand right.
A head kick from Ragnar lands but Nwamadi takes it in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ragnar connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ragnar is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Nwamadi misses the shot to the body.
Nwamadi takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ragnar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A big right from Nwamadi misses.
And Ragnar counters with a quick kick to the body but Nwamadi blocks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ragnar lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Emmanuel Nwamadi has been cut.
Nwamadi misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ragnar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nwamadi takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Nwamadi is rocked!
Ragnar throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ragnar goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Nwamadi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ragnar scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nwamadi doesn't seem bothered though.
We've been told by Ragnar's head coaches at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ragnar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nwamadi manages to avoid it.
Ragnar scores with the left hand. Nwamadi knows he should have avoided that one.
Nwamadi lands a nice looking body shot.
Nwamadi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nwamadi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Ragnar lands a big head kick that sends Nwamadi tumbling to the mat! Ragnar takes a step backwards and waves Nwamadi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Nwamadi is still on wobbly legs! Can Ragnar finish him?
Ragnar cracks Nwamadi with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nwamadi tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ragnar pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nwamadi is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bjorn Ragnar!
After winning the bout, Bjorn Ragnar thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
