Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lachlan Cassidy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Laejyn Dall!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dall shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Cassidy throws a shot from downtown. Dall moves away and avoids it.
Dall tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Good exchange - Cassidy coming out on top.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dall has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Dall throws a poor cross that misses
and Cassidy counters with a nice body shot.
Cassidy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dall takes one on the button.
Dall lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Dall closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cassidy circles away.
A bone on bone clash there as Cassidy blocks the leg kick.
Cassidy works the jab nicely.
Dall connects with a solid leg kick.
Cassidy falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dall counters with a slapping leg kick.
Dall pushes Cassidy away with a front kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cassidy looks to throw the jab but Dall is out of range.
Cassidy misses with a hook. Dall ducked under it nicely.
Dall ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cassidy cracks a nice hook into Dall's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cassidy lands with a shot to the body.
Dall tries to score with a low kick but Cassidy moves his leg out of the way.
Dall fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A jab from Cassidy finds it's way through Dall's defenses.
Dall connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dall ducks under a wild hook from Cassidy.
Dall doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Cassidy thuds a left hand into Dall's body.
Dall rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cassidy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dall is rocked!
Dall moves forwards but Cassidy connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Dall is still on wobbly legs! Can Cassidy finish him?
Cassidy lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Dall falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lachlan Cassidy!
