The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arkin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Crawford is trying to defend but Arkin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Crawford is looking to control Arkin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Crawford avoid being mounted?
Crawford avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Arkin.
Arkin stalling.
Crawford is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crawford is trying to maintain the position but Arkin is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Arkin is nestled in close to Crawford, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Arkin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Crawford tries to roll over but Arkin keeps him under control.
Crawford on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

It looks like Max Crawford has been cut.
Arkin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Still in half guard, Arkin seems content to control.
Oh Crawford is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arkin lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Crawford! More strikes land and this one is all over! Arkin jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
