Dhamma has chosen Power Of Soul as his entrance music. Yogi Dhamma is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jamaal Charles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yogi Dhamma!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dhamma moves away.
Charles swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dhamma feints the counter takedown.
Charles looks to land a left hand but Dhamma moved out of range nicely.
Dhamma changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Charles looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A punch combination from Charles misses.
Charles waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dhamma.
Dhamma has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Charles is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Dhamma darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Dhamma is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Charles has managed to free his arm - good work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dhamma works his way into side control.
Charles pushes Dhamma away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dhamma gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Dhamma tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dhamma has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dhamma working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Charles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dhamma on the ground.

Dhamma is trying to get an arm triangle but Charles is defending well.
Charles is looking for a sweep.

Dhamma looking to control but Charles is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Dhamma is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Charles can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Dhamma works his way to his opponent's back.

Dhamma looking for the choke but no joy.

Dhamma has got one arm under Charles's chin. This could be trouble... Charles trying to control the other hand but Dhamma gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Charles has tapped out! The fight is over!
