Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Berry Strickland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yohn Royce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Royce misses with a jab to the body
and Strickland counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Strickland could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Royce throws a right and a left that both miss.
Strickland seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Strickland gets tackled into the cage by Royce. Royce maintains the clinch.

It looks like Berry Strickland has been cut.

Royce rushes Strickland and presses him up against the cage.
Strickland keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Royce's efforts to push away.
Royce is pressed up against the cage. Strickland has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Royce down to the mat. Royce avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Strickland is trying to maintain a safe position but Royce gets an underhook and turns Strickland into the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Royce's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Royce gets through Strickland's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Strickland is looking to control Royce's arms but Royce gets an underhook and turns him. Now Strickland has his back to the cage.
Royce wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Strickland jumps guard but Royce stands there with Strickland around his waist. Strickland gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Royce lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Strickland to his knees! Royce keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
