Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kolo Kebe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Mcdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kolo Kebe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alan Mcdonald!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kebe clinches up with Mcdonald and pushes him back against the cage.
Kebe can't get the takedown.

Kebe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kebe scores with a one two! Mcdonald had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Nice sprawl there from Mcdonald as Kebe shoots in.

Mcdonald forces Kebe back against the cage and clinches.

Kebe manages to break the clinch.
Mcdonald shoots in but Kebe avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Mcdonald or perhaps it was just good defense by Kebe, which made it look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kebe moves into the clinch successfully.

Kebe manages to break the clinch.

Kebe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

You can see the frustration on Mcdonald's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Mcdonald is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kebe asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The strikes coming from Kebe are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Kebe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcdonald on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mcdonald tries to buck Kebe off but Kebe is having none of it.
Mcdonald is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Kebe wants to stand but Mcdonald has his arm trapped.

Mcdonald is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kebe pushing down on Mcdonald's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mcdonald avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Kebe stands up from Mcdonald's guard - Kebe perhaps looking for a knockout.
Kebe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mcdonald is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Mcdonald goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mcdonald fails with the takedown
and Kebe counters with a head kick. That will keep Mcdonald thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Kebe drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Kebe decides to take the fight back to the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kebe shoots in but Mcdonald avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mcdonald shoots in looking for a takedown but Kebe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mcdonald's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kebe changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Mcdonald gets caught flat footed, as Kebe shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Kebe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mcdonald has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kebe has managed to get both his arms back between Mcdonald's legs - danger averted.
Mcdonald pulls Kebe in close to prevent any damage.
Kebe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mcdonald swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Mcdonald has his takedown stuffed
and Kebe counters with a good low kick that Mcdonald was not able to check.
Kolo Kebe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Mcdonald.
Mcdonald tries to clinch but Kebe is having none of it.

Kebe gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mcdonald tries to free his leg and advance position but Kebe is retaining full guard.

Kebe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcdonald won't allow Kebe to get back to his feet.
Kebe wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Mcdonald is now in half guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mcdonald will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mcdonald tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kebe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kebe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mcdonald avoids a punch combination nicely.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Mcdonald closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee asks Mcdonald politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mcdonald prefers to stall for the moment though.
Kolo Kebe overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kebe is looking for a sweep.

Kebe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mcdonald as he avoids it easily.

Kebe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Mcdonald is trying to control Kebe's posture but Kebe avoids it.
Mcdonald tries to bench press Kebe off him but Kebe keeps the position.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mcdonald is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Kebe is trying to control. Mcdonald wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Mcdonald slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Kebe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mcdonald is one step ahead there.

Kolo Kebe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kebe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mcdonald just misses with a punch to the body.
Kebe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mcdonald but Mcdonald pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Mcdonald throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Mcdonald shoots for a double leg takedown but Kebe sprawls well. He's pushed Mcdonald's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As Mcdonald tries to get set, Kebe tries to push him back and clinch up but Mcdonald manages to avoid the attempt.
Alan Mcdonald has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kolo Kebe is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kebe wants to clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kolo Kebe.
Well Kebe has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
