Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akira Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buster Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn has chosen Boats & Hoes as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Akira Akiyama has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Akira Akiyama seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn shoots in for a takedown but Akiyama shows good takedown defense.
Quinn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Akiyama defends it nicely.
Akiyama lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Akiyama.

Quinn has Akiyama up against the cage in a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Akiyama tries to clinch there but Quinn circles away.
Quinn goes for a double leg but Akiyama avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Akiyama continues to drive forward.
Akira Akiyama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buster Quinn.
