The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cart throws a jab but it's blocked by Pelaez.
Pelaez throws a head kick that misses.
Pelaez throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Cart throws a shot to the body.
Cart misses with an uppercut
and Pelaez counters with a left and a right that stings Cart.
Pelaez throws a nice inside leg kick.
Pelaez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Cart cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pelaez throws a jab when Cart was well out of range.
Cart looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Cart sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cart needs to keep his hands up - Pelaez had a free shot at his head there.
Cart lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cart throws the left hand but Pelaez avoids the punch easily.

Pelaez is looking to counter the offense by Cart and move into the clinch.

pj Pelaez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pelaez scores with a head kick. Cart tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Pelaez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Cart throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pelaez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Pelaez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Oh Pelaez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Cart counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
