The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parayan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McClane.
McClane thuds his shin into the meat of Parayan's side.
McClane misses with a low kick.
Parayan avoids the head kick by McClane.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McClane misses with a kick to the body.
McClane avoids a punch combination nicely.
A little jabbing left from McClane on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
McClane throws a low kick but Parayan moves out of range easily.
McClane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McClane missing with a left hand there. Parayan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Parayan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McClane manages to avoid it.
Parayan finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Parayan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McClane misses with a body kick.
McClane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Parayan moves away.
Parayan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McClane throws a jab but it's blocked by Parayan.
Parayan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parayan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McClane throws a leg kick but Parayan sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Parayan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Parayan throws a hook but McClane blocks it.
McClane doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
McClane looks winded!
McClane misses with a jab, cross combination.
McClane misses with a wild body shot.
John McClane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parayan ducks under a wild hook from McClane.
No joy there for Parayan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Parayan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McClane waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Parayan.
Good work by Parayan as he checks the leg kick.
Parayan takes the fight into the clinch.
Parayan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McClane tries to score with a low kick but Parayan moves his leg out of the way.
Parayan attempts a counter takedown but McClane avoids it well and moves away.
McClane getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Parayan tries to bum rush McClane with a series of wild strikes but McClane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McClane takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Parayan tries to counter with a takedown but McClane is quick to defend against it.
McClane throws a right and a left that Parayan avoids nicely.
No joy there for Parayan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Parayan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

That has opened up John McClane's cut even more.
McClane misses with a low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Parayan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McClane has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McClane and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
McClane misses with a wild combination.

Parayan throws a body punch but McClane moves out of range.
McClane swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Parayan is looking to wear down McClane with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McClane scores with a sloppy right hand. Parayan should have avoided that one.
McClane connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Parayan lands a lovely overhand right.
McClane misses with a wild body shot.
Parayan weaves into range and cracks McClane right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! McClane goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Parayan is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jiroy Parayan!
John McClane was interviewed post fight and said 'Dingy dingy son of a gun...'.
