Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Busioni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Peters Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Peters Jr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fight stays on the outside here - Busioni looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Peters Jr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Peters Jr wants it to stay on the feet.

Busioni has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Peters Jr off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Peters Jr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Busioni tries to avoid it but Peters Jr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Busioni to the ground. Busioni escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gary Busioni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Peters Jr. Busioni does a little dance to reset his feet.
Busioni shoots in looking for a takedown. Peters Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Busioni keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Peters Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
