Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kanzaki Nao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Hercules (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nao has a takedown stuffed.

Nao closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hercules circles away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hercules has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Nao displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hercules throws out the jab.

Hercules drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hercules jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hercules looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nao with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Let's hope that Hercules has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
