The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt slips under a jab.
It looked like Schmidt wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Schmidt throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Schmidt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McAinsley has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
McAinsley takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A nice inside leg kick there by Schmidt. That's going to slow McAinsley down.
McAinsley misses with a hook.
Schmidt scores with a punch to the head.
Schmidt throws a head kick that McAinsley semi-blocks.

McAinsley is still on wobbly legs! Can Schmidt finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McAinsley falls off balance throwing a combination
and Schmidt counters with a nice leg kick.
McAinsley lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
McAinsley seems to have recovered his senses.
Rory McAinsley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McAinsley darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Schmidt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Schmidt thumps McAinsley with a low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McAinsley lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Schmidt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Schmidt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Schmidt lands a brutal head kick. McAinsley looks out on his feet and Schmidt throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
