Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Kline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Tuomioja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuomioja has chosen The boys are back in town as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Scott Kline!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Benjamin Tuomioja!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Kline looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tuomioja looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Tuomioja preventing the sweep.
Tuomioja is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Kline is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tuomioja is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like Tuomioja might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kline can't keep his opponent in guard - Tuomioja advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Tuomioja content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Tuomioja is nestled in close to Kline, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kline is trying to get back to full guard.
Tuomioja uses his free foot to push down on Kline's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kline.
Kline might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tuomioja swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kline is now in Tuomioja's guard. A big mistake from Tuomioja there, giving up the dominant position!
Tuomioja manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kline manages to get himself to full guard.


Tuomioja stands up and waves to Kline to follow him.
Kline misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kline moves in looking to clinch but Tuomioja pushes him off.
Tuomioja throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tuomioja lands a right hook to the body.

Tuomioja shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tuomioja wants to pass to mount but Kline is defending the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Tuomioja is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kline doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tuomioja.
Kline could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Well, if Tuomioja is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kline wants to control but Tuomioja is keeping busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tuomioja is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Tuomioja lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kline trying to control here.
Tuomioja has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Tuomioja moves to the back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tuomioja biding his time, controlling Kline.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Benjamin Tuomioja dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Tuomioja shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tuomioja was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Tuomioja moves into full mount!
Tuomioja content just to control the position here.
Kline tries to lock up and control but Tuomioja gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tuomioja putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Tuomioja jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kline manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Kline is trying to strike from the bottom but Tuomioja has passed into full mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tuomioja controlling the pace for now.
Kline keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Tuomioja is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Kline is in real trouble.
I would not like to be Kline right now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tuomioja is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kline has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tuomioja has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Kline.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
You can see the frustration on Kline's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Tuomioja is riding his opponent, not letting Kline buck him off.

Tuomioja has managed to slip his arm under Kline's chin. This could be all over... yep, Kline is tapping out! Submission win for Tuomioja.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Benjamin Tuomioja!
Benjamin Tuomioja bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
