Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Rubey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harlan Crowe!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rubey as he avoids it easily.

Crowe shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Crowe was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Rubey is trying to control Crowe's posture but Crowe avoids it.
Crowe looks up at the clock and then as Rubey takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Crowe smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!


It looks like Chris Rubey has been cut.
Crowe creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Rubey sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Crowe misses with the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crowe working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Crowe looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Rubey dodges the ground and pound from Crowe.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rubey prevents Crowe from moving into mount.

Crowe working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Crowe looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Rubey is avoiding damage well.
Rubey managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Crowe.
The strikes coming from Crowe are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Rubey tries to buck Crowe off but Crowe is having none of it.
Crowe is working Rubey over with some ground and pound from side control.


Chris Rubey's cut is getting worse.
Crowe works to advance to full mount. Rubey defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Crowe scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Rubey?


Chris Rubey's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Crowe throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rubey because Crowe loaded up on that one.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rubey is trying to escape the mount.
Crowe in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.


Jeez, Chris Rubey's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chris Rubey's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Harlan Crowe!
Harlan Crowe tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
