Landry has chosen country boy as his entrance music. Cletus Landry has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Waru Kuzuri's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuzuri avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kuzuri swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Landry misses with a wild combination.
Kuzuri seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Kuzuri misses the shot to the body.
Landry throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kuzuri.
Kuzuri paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Landry fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kuzuri, pushing him back against the cage.

Landry takes a swing at Kuzuri's ribcage but misses.

Kuzuri catches Landry with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Kuzuri has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Landry finds it's way round the side to connect with Kuzuri's head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Landry throws a wild body kick that Kuzuri sees coming a mile off.

Landry drives through and clinches with Kuzuri against the cage.

Landry has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Landry is looking to break free of the clinch but Kuzuri has double underhooks.

Kuzuri has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Landry is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kuzuri is defending well for now.

Landry misses with a hook to the ribs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Waru Kuzuri will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kuzuri with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Landry to score with a decent uppercut.

Kuzuri darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Landry's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Kuzuri before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
