Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Weeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weeks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Weeks throws a chopping leg kick but manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Weeks closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into 's guard.
Weeks landing with the ground and pound.
Weeks won't allow to get back to his feet.
Weeks tries to free his leg and advance position but is retaining full guard.

kicks Weeks off and gets to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and counters with a left and a right that stings Weeks.

Weeks closes the distance and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Weeks shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Weeks controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Weeks is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Weeks engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Weeks passes 's left leg - he's now in half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Rodney will probably get the nod.

Weeks tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
