Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Marat Sanayev!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green closes the distance and clinches.

Sanayev turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sanayev manages to end up in side control.
Green takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Sanayev is working to tighten his grip on Green's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Green has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sanayev is really squeezing tight and eventually Green passes out! Sanayev breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Marat Sanayev!
Marat Sanayev decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
