Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remarcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by CNN-Yall dont wanna fuck with us. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Remarcus Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Rogan!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Remarcus Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Danga de danga de dang - Jones scores with a four punch combination!


It looks like Joe Rogan has been cut.

Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rogan quickly recovers to half guard.
Jones prevents Rogan from improving his position.
Rogan is controlling Jones's position as best he can from this difficult position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones is pressing down on Rogan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rogan is holding on for now.
Jones works his foot free and advances to mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jones is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rogan has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Rogan tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jones wants to control the pace but Rogan is squirming around nicely.

Jones looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Rogan is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea.

Rogan wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
Jones lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Rogan hang on?

Rogan slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Rogan, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Rogan against the cage but Rogan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Rogan is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Rogan looks winded!
Jones wants to stand but Rogan has his arm trapped.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rogan is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Rogan prevents Jones from improving position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones scores with a one two! Rogan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Jones clinches up with Rogan and pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee calls for Jones to work.

Jones has clasped his hands together around Rogan's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Rogan tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Rogan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And Rogan tries to counter it with a takedown but Jones pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Rogan sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rogan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Remarcus Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rogan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jones tightens his grip and picks Rogan up, before dumping him to the ground. Rogan manages to land in guard.

Jones stands up from Rogan's guard - Jones perhaps looking for a knockout.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Jones misses with a kick to the body.
And Rogan tries to counter it with a takedown but Jones pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Jones dives in and grabs Rogan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rogan pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Jones tries to clinch but Rogan is having none of it.
Rogan feints the counter takedown.
Jones tries to clinch there but Rogan circles away.
Jones tries to clinch up but Rogan circles away and keeps his distance.

Jones gets caught napping as Rogan dives in and scores a takedown. Jones manages to retain guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rogan enables Jones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rogan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Rogan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Jones pushes down on Rogan's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Rogan wants to control but Jones is keeping busy.
Rogan wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.
Rogan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Jones is taking a breather. Rogan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Rogan is concentrating on defense, preventing Jones from advancing position.
Rogan wants to control but Jones is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Jones is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Jones moves into range and clinches up with Rogan.
Jones is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Rogan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jones prevents it.
Jones has Rogan pressed against the cage.
Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rogan can do to turn this around?

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Rogan wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Rogan stopping the sweep attempt from Jones.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rogan working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rogan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Remarcus Jones showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Jones has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Remarcus Jones rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Joe Rogan stepped up to the mic, saying 'I Blame God for this Loss. He just wasn't with me tonight.'.
